The Train Station in Aguascalientes features a 30-minute fountain and light show each evening choreographed to music. The Train Station was the heartbeat of the city decades ago. Today, the station and some of the old trains provide a place to visit and relive the excitement of the past.
At 6:00pm each evening, a mechanized scale model of the train station emerges from an underground vault. A narrator speaks as miniature trains weave around the tracks in a computer automated sequence of events, demonstrating the activity of the old train station. As the trains disappear into their underground cave, the visitors head toward the fountains for the main event of the evening.
All around the station yard, a wheeled train with several cars offers a chance for visitors to experience a train ride while the narrator tells history of the train station.
